i know grand theft is close but if you have some cash this is worth buying.
it brings nothing new to the shooter genre but when you use your glaive for the first time you wont want to use your guns anyway, just fire your glaive into ice, fire or electric and watch your foe's freeze, burn or fry. you can even turn your glaive into a bomb using the said elements as its power to blow multiple foe's at a time.
throw it and use the after touch button to switch perspective then you can guide the glaive through the air to slice off limbs of multiple foe's in one throw.

when you get infected by the virus every now and then you get more powers as the virus takes hold of you and changes your body, that keeps the game fresh and not repetitive.

the only thing i find frustrating is that the dodge and cover button is the same one and now and again you jump into the line of fire when you want him to go to cover.

overall i think its a good game and worth £35

its good i like it me and frog tried multiplayer, there are only 2 game types epidemic and infection, but wi 5 or 6 of us should be good fun

when can most of us get on to play this cause i like to chuck frisbies it takes me back to my youth

after cod4 tn8 i can play,or anytime

I tried a bit of the first level last night and was impressed, reminded me of Gears playing it.

Graphics were fantastic, and I havent even got to using the glaive yet

So, I've just been and bought it so I will be on it tonight!

Ahh, found out why it feels like Gears.

The designers at Digital Extremes are some of the original designers that created the 'Unreal' game engine.

I was getting fecking annoyed with the guys with 'shields' last night. Whats the best way to take them out?

power hit them with your glaive before they get too close to you, so they drop the shield for a moment then when they are unguarded shoot them. or dodge behind them and break necks

if that fails throw a grenade i found that works
