EDIT: the game looks absolutely frickin awesome to the max, the opportunities for maps look absolutely fantastic, especially zombie maps

lol. although on play.com release date is same as fable 2.....think I'll just get santa to give me farcry 2.

There was a map editor in the first farcry, and they could be shared as well, i just couldnt figure out how to use it, i just created alot of D-day maps.

The first one was good, but i would still put fable 2 as the more likely to be the better of the two

yeah thats' what I'm thinkin. I've played Far Cry Instinct Predator, which I thought was crap. Also, you can share the maps on Far Cry 2 by either uploading it onto an Ubi server or inviting your friends into the map you've just created, then it will automatically download it for you.

Also Carroty have you played the fable 2 pub game yet?

Ok rather than create a new post, heres's a new video of COD 5. Graphics look good but I still think they should've left WW2 behind. I'll be waiting for COD 6 to come out, which is sometime next year.

Just look at merc 2 co-op, looks impressive.

Either gonna get this or Star Wars: Force Unleashed. Although I think SWFU could just get to repetitive....

the first merc was really good, but i haven't really liked the look of the second merc yet.

SWFU repetitive? merc 2 will be blowing things up repetitive, while SWFU will be cutting down hoards of foes with electricity repetitive.

I would favor over fable 2 and SWFU over merc 2 and GOW 2 at the moment thought

You make a good point. Although I think SWFU linear game play, at least that what it appears like from playing the demo, cannot come close to the freedom that mercs could offer. Also I'm defo getting Fable 2 and Far Cry 2-not gonna bother with GOW 2 or COD 5 until they come down in price.

Im not gonna bother with COD 5 for a long while it seems and when it comes down to it ill prob just be buying SWFU to revel in some star-wars awesomeness

I'm still not that sure about mercs 2 tbh, I don't know whether I'd like it or not... have you seen Left 4 Dead? That's out november, I think I'll get that cos the co-op looks spectacular



That was actual gameplay, but it's got like a movie mode so you can make movie type things with it, and it looks brill- if you don't have a mic, your charactar says stuff automatically like "I'm hit!" or "I'm reloading!" so your buddies know, there's an AI director so one player can control all the zombies, like when a huge horde attacks the players, when to send in a boss zombie

i just want a good co-op game to play!

I've seen this before, have a look at gamespot for merc 2, co-op will be good. Or you could just rent it.
