Rock band and xbox headset

right there seems to be a problem with connecting your wired headset to the cheap crappy adapters provided by rock band.............

after hours of pissing about here is what i found and how to solve it.

the problem is simple the adapter does not push far enough into the the wired headset as the grey lip on the wired headset stops it.

i sprained my headset apart slightle so i could push (and by push i mean with all the force i could muster) and played a voice message backif you do this it works....

but god knows why harmonix didnt simply make the drums / guitar compatible with the headsets (Morons)
